ITINERARY

DAY 1
Welcome to Zanzibar!

You’ll land in Zanzibar in mid-afternoon and get a chance to meet your fellow travelers in person for the first time (yay!). We’ll board the private shuttle to our stunning hotel. A stylish combination of Tanzanian and European decor (Silver members will stay in a smart carefully selected boutique hotel). Once you’ve had the chance to get acquainted, we’ll gather for welcome drinks. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore, relax, and get settled in your new surroundings.In the evening, we’ll be treated to a welcome party. DAY 2
The genuine Stone town & Nakupenda beach – half day trip

You will enjoy a yummy breakfast and have time to relax, before heading to our walking tour of Stone Town a world heritage site. We will get to wander in Stone town’s streets and learn about Zanzibar’s epic history.
In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy the pristine Nakupenda beach for a half day of fun.

DAY 3
Day trip
Spice Village Tour and Cooking lesson 

We kick off the day right after breakfast! We are headed to a unique spice farm.
You will get to smell & taste different spices and fruits, and learn how they are cultivated and used.. You will also get cultural insights about how they are used in Swahili cuisine, medication and as beauty products. Then you can enjoy some fresh seasonal fruits before heading to the nearby village. We will have the opportunity to exchange with locals and get to familiarize with their way of living, see how the houses are build and how people live, how they cultivate cassava. You will get the chance to try your skills as a farmer!
Finally, we will get our hands dirty and lean how to make our very own  Swahili dish! We will collect some cassava leaves, learn the basic elements of Swahili’s cuisine so we can try our skills on an homemade dish cook kitchen

DAY 4
Darajani Bazaar in Stone Town + Escape to Nungwi

After an early breakfast, we’re headed to the blazing, intense, Darajani Bazaar, you will need to have your bargaining skills on point!
After lunch we will make our way to Nungwi for some beach time and hang out with the Masai

DAY 5
Nungwi

Today is all about the natural beauty of Nungwi! You will have the whole day to chill or enjoy the various activities the village has to offer.
Gold members will be treated to the Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation center.

DAY 6
Jonazi Forest visit & Prison island tour

Today we’re headed to Jambiani for a Jonazi Forest visit – Reserve : Jozani Forest is a protected reserve in Zanzibar, the forest reserve was created for the conservation of the endangered species of the red colobus monkeys. Jozani Forest has a diversity of woodland landscape, which features tidal water-washed areas between Chwaka Island bays and Uzi, mangrove trees and a variety of marine vegetation.
After lunch    
We will head to  Changuu Island also known as Prison Island.
The island was formerly owned by an Arab and saw use for confinement of refractory slaves but no prisoners were ever housed here instead the island became a quarantine station for yellow fever epidemics.   The slaves were dumped on the island.

DAY 7
Departure Au revoir

We know, it feels like you just got here, but it’s time to say goodbye.  Use today to check off those final items on your list for the city before it’s time to head home.

Day 1

Welcome to Senegal!

You’ll land in Dakar in mid-afternoon and get a chance to meet your fellow travelers in person for the first time (yay!). We’ll board the private shuttle to our stunning hotel. A stylish combination of Senegalese and European decor (Silver members will stay in a smart carefully selected boutique hotel). Once you’ve had the chance to get acquainted, we’ll gather for welcome drinks. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore, relax, and get settled in your new surroundings.

In the evening, we’ll be treated to rooftop party. An unforgettable way to kick off your stay in Dakar.

 

 

Day 2

The genuine Dakar

You will enjoy a yummy breakfast and have time to relax, before heading to the Sandaga Market and the Artisanal Market.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the brand new Museum of Black Civilisations, Senegal has opened a sprawling museum that celebrates black civilizations from across the globe. The world’s Largest Museum of this kind.

 

Day 3

Goree Island

We’re heading to the gorgeous Goree Island. You get to enjoy the magnificent views leading to the town and stunning landscape.

The Island is home to The “House of Slaves” which was, by some accounts, a first stop for some 20 million African slaves destined for ships moored in the deep waters off Goree’s rocky shores.

Goree and the “House of Slaves” exist as powerful symbols of the slave trade and that alone makes it a place of curiosity and history.

The setting is breathtaking, and you get to see the beautiful sunset.

 

Day 4

Departure to Saint Louis

Enough Dakar life —   Depart in the morning for the charming Saint Louis where we’ll spend a couple of days relaxing and soaking in the sun. exploring the architectural beauty of this colonial town.

 

Day 5

Saint Louis Jazz Festival (subject to change)

After an early breakfast, we’re headed to the blazing, most intense, intoxicating, and quintessentially Jazz festival in Africa!

Day 6

African renaissance Museum

Today we’re headed back to Dakar, after some relax time. We’ll get to visit the African renaissance museum! The 49-meter-tall bronze statue located on top of one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles, built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam suburb is a pure delight for the eyes.

 

We’ll get our groove on at night, so make sure you bring your best dance moves to the table. We are good for an epic night out!

The Garden is definitely a place to see. We will cross cham de mass to enjoy lunch. Once we at the hotel we will check in and you can go enjoy the pool Follow by Night out in town for those interested.

Mid afternoon, we will head to lunch at a local restaurant. You can join us at Boutilliers Observatory for drinks, 3000 feet above sea level, expect fresh air and amazing view of Port au Prince. We’ll help you schedule your optional excursions at

We’re heading to a gorgeous boutique hotel in Jacmel. You get to enjoy the magnificent views leading to the town and stunning landscape. After check in, we will go Raymond Des Bains where you will enjoy
lunch right on the beach. The setting is breathtaking and you get to see the beautiful sunset.  Later in the evening, we’ll have the opportunity to get lost in Jacmel’s old town, people-watch from a street side café, with entertainers, tourists, and street performers, and learn about the history and craftsmanship of their wares. If you’re feeling adventurous, we encourage you to hop a taxi and explore the city and its striking colorful walls by car.

 

DAY 4

Enough city life — today is all about the natural beauty of the region! After breakfast, we will be on the road to
Bassin Bleu, please bring you swimsuit and get ready to enjoy one of the most beautiful waterfall you ever see. Lunch will be served at Bassin Bleu with phenomenal views on one of in Haiti’s most beautiful site. Use your last evening in Jacmel as you please. Ask us for Recommendations on what to do. The people in this part of Haiti are the friendliest, most welcoming people you’ll meet.

DAY 5

After a leisurely morning and a sumptuous breakfast, the day is yours to explore, experience, and relax. We’ll help you schedule your optional excursions for you. Ogier-Fombrun Museum and Kay Piat – Situated in a restored house, this museum allows you to dive into Haiti’s rich history. It showcases Taino artifacts from the slavery and colonial eras and Go on an adventure and hike up the mountainous trail of Kay Piat. Paragliding, Snorkeling, Jet ski and more are also available for those interested.

 

DAY 6

After breakfast, we’ll head over to La cote des Arcadins, where we’ll be staying for the last couple nights at one of Haiti’s best resort. A Haitian jewel, surrounded by a 55-hectare natural reserve and 2 kilometers of white sand beaches, colored by an indigo blue sea and ski, can be found between the sea and the mountains of Hispaniola Island. Here, rest and serenity are the rule, amidst a delicious tropical climate averaging 30 degrees centigrade, the warmth of Haitian people and the charm of its gastronomy. .

DAY 7

 

After an early breakfast, we’re privy to a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the most intense, intoxicating, and quintessentially Haitian experiences —  Departure for boat excursion. Bring your appetite because drinks and food will be served. All meals and drinks included

 

DAY 8

in the view of PAP If you’d like to get up early for a final fix of the capital, you’re welcome to do so before breakfast! After we eat, the shuttle will depart for the PAP airport. Tearful goodbyes and promises to come back will ensue.

If it’s your first time, you’ll love the safety of traveling with our group, and the ease of having all your hotels, transportation, activities and meals sorted out for you. You’ll love that you won’t have to worry about getting lost, ripped off, or hassling with foreign currency. WILL I BE TOO OLD, OR TOO YOUNG?

Our guests range in age from their 20s to their 40s. Age doesn’t mean much when we’re all searching for a better life. Our experiences are more adventurous, so in that sense, it does require that you are healthy and can walk or hike easily.
